Geothermal Technology is a technology that uses the earth’s renewable energy to provide high efficiency heating and cooling.  This ground source of energy is used to heat and cool a building through the use of an electrically powered heat pump and a series of underground pipes that draw heat energy to the building in the winter and away from the building in the summer.

Important criteria to consider with Geothermal Technology is ground temperature and soil composition for ground-coupled systems and flow rate of water supply for ground water systems.
